It was a beautiful spring weekend in Ellensburg – the trees were leafed out and blooming, it was sunny and it wasn’t very windy at all. It was a great gathering of people who love horses and riding trails, with lots of classes and vendors and the used tack sale. For the line-dancing on Friday night, half the crowd were students from CWU getting their dance on. There was a lively auction on Saturday night, and on Sunday our very own Pat Cosner was presented with the 2025 BCHW Backbone Award! Chapter secretary and camp cook Kim Merrick also won the President’s Diamond Award. She didn’t attend Rendezvous this year so BCHW President Dana Chambers and Awards Chair Sue Sundahl will present it to her at the Buckhorn Range Chapter meeting May 8th.
